Scott and Steve Murow began working together at Clayton Engineering in May of 1987 where they teamed up to estimate and manage hundreds of public and private works over a thirteen year span. In, 2005, Scott rejoined Steve at The Moote Group where they both worked side by side to provide cost estimates on land development projects, provide constructability and risk analysis studies on earthwork projects, provided project management services on a myriad of site development projects and worked together on the Laguna Beach Bluebird Canyon repair over a 2 ½ year period.

Scott will serve as the firm’s Executive Vice President. His responsibilities will include construction oversight consulting, program management and development of project estimates for site work. Scott will also enter the Expert Witness and Litigation Support arena specializing in general engineering contracting standard of care matters and site development cost-to-complete analysis.

Scott is the 1st. VP of the ASPE, American Society of Professional Estimators, Orange County chapter and holds certifications in LEED GA and QSP (Qualified SWPPP Practitioner). Scott and his wife Sarah are members of the YMCA Triathlon Club and active members at The Crossing Church in Costa Mesa. His daughter Amanda is in American Heritage Girls and on the YMCA swim team. His older daughters, Jessica and Jennifer, reside in San Francisco.
